Box of Love serves to bless families in our local community by providing a Thanksgiving meal.
As one of our largest outreaches of the year, Box of Love is an opportunity to serve our neighbors and form relationships with one another.

Each box will be filled with all the ingredients needed to prepare a nourishing Thanksgiving dinner for an entire family, and will be delivered to families in our church, neighborhoods, workplaces, several local schools, and the Relief Nursery.

Box of Love preparation begins in October and continues through the end of November. Then throughout the day on Saturday, November 18, we will assemble and pack the boxes, and deliver them to Briggs, Cal Young, Relief Nursery, and families in the greater Eugene/Springfield area.

Get Involved

Box of Love couldn’t happen without your help and support. There are many ways you can get involved with our largest outreach of the year:

Give Financially

Each box costs around $70 to prepare and includes a turkey, stuffing, veggies, sparkling cider, and a pumpkin pie. You can give online, at a gathering, or at the Ekklesia Office and specify “Box of Love” in the memo line.

Nominate a Family

If you would like to bless a family with a Thanksgiving meal, please fill out a nomination form either on our website or at the Connect Table on Sundays.

Nominations for Box of Love 2023 are now full — please call our office to be added to a waitlist.

Volunteer

On Box of Love Day, we will need all hands on deck to help assemble, pack, and/or deliver boxes. Sign up with friends and family to be a part of this special day!
