The church should be a visible picture and outpost of the coming kingdom of Jesus, where people from diverse backgrounds come together in the unity of the Gospel. Ephesians 2:19-22
The church is the family of God and therefore should commit to loving, trusting, encouraging, and caring for each other as brothers and sisters. 1 Timothy 5:1-2
The church is the body of Christ, where each person has different strengths but together serves harmoniously as Christ’s agent in the world. Romans 12:4-5
The church should be hospitable to all—welcoming people as they are, recognizing that every human bears the image of God no matter their background, ethnicity, or status. Hebrews 13:1-2; Genesis 1:26

We believe the Bible is truth, and we will teach, obey, and study the Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16-4:2
We should be honest, transparent, and authentic with one another, because God is truth. John 18:37

Truthfulness begins with being truthful to yourself—understanding where you are in your walk with Jesus and how you need to grow. 1 John 1:6-10

The church’s primary mission is to make disciples of Jesus through the proclamation of the Gospel. Matthew 28:18-20
Disciples are formed first by belief that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and was raised from the dead to demonstrate His power to forgive our sins and raise us to life. This is the Gospel. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
We urgently desire to boldly proclaim the Gospel to as many people and in as many ways as God gives us opportunity. Romans 10:14-15
The Gospel message never changes but we must be intentional to present it according to the context in which God has placed us. 1 Corinthians 9:19-23

Discipleship is a lifelong transformation of our hearts, beginning with trusting the Gospel, but then empowered by the Holy Spirit’s sanctifying work. Philippians 1:6
The manifestation of the fruits of the Spirit are true evidence of the Spirit’s work in a person’s life. Galatians 5:22-23
The church should be a place where broken people can be restored and transformed by the Spirit into full maturity in Christ. Ephesians 4:11-14
The role of church leadership is to equip and empower people to use their spiritual gifts to glorify Jesus, build up the church, and make disciples. 1 Corinthians 12:4-7

The Christian life is a not a sprint but a marathon that must be run with endurance toward the goal of Christ, persevering and learning through suffering, failure and hardship with faithfulness. Hebrews 12:1; Philippians 3:13-14
Every day should be filled with the purposeful pursuit of God’s best for your life by abiding in Christ. Our lives, both in how we live and work, should be marked by excellence. John 15:9-11
Disciples should use their God-given imagination to envision where God can take them and the church, and then they should take initiative to proactively enact that vision. I Chronicles 12:32

Our Beliefs
God is the only true God
He exists in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit | Deuteronomy 6:4; John 17:3
Jesus Christ is God
He is the Son of God who became a man to save us from the penalty of sin | John 1:1; Titus 2:13; Philippians 2:4-11; John 3:15-16
He died, was buried, then He rose again | 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Today, He is seated at the right hand of God, ministering as the Head of the Church
The Holy Spirit is God
He works to draw those who don’t believe to Christ | Acts 5:3-4
He lives in those who believe to mature them so they can glorify God | Galatians 5:22-23; Ephesians 5:18
Sin
Man has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God | Romans 3:23
Man sins because they are sinners from birth | Psalm 51:5
The consequences of sin are spiritual death and eternal separation from God in Hell | Ephesians 2:1-3; Revelation 20:11-15
Jesus died on the cross for our sins
His substitutionary death on the cross enables those who trust in Him as Savior from sin to be forgiven completely | 1 Corinthians 15:3; Romans 3:21-26; 8:1
Once a person is saved, they are saved forever (John 6:39-40; 10:28-29; Romans 8:38-39; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 2:8-9, 4:30; Jude 24)
