Ekklesia ‘Women in the Word’ exists to encourage women to grow in their love for Jesus, the Bible, and each other. We are building Bible literacy in community with women from all seasons of life. Our hope is to provide foundational opportunities and resources for the women within our church to pursue Christ together.

WITW Summer Read Along

This summer, Ekklesia’s Women in the Word ministry is reading through Now and Not Yet: Pressing in When You’re Waiting, Wanting, and Restless for More by Ruth Chou Simons. We invite you to read along with us this summer, at your own pace! Books will be available for purchase at the Connect table in the lobby, Sunday, June 1 and 8. You can also purchase a copy online by pressing the link.

Women in the Word Newsletter

Each month, Women in the Word sends out a newsletter with a monthly verse, prayer requests, and helpful information on upcoming events and studies. You can sign up with your email to receive the newsletter, and stay up to date!

Discipleship

Becoming a disciple of Jesus is the lifelong process by which we are transformed away from the conforming forces of our pre-Christ life into the image of Jesus. At Ekklesia, we desire to help you and support you on this journey! A way to kickstart this growth is to meet regularly with a more mature believer and learn how Biblical truth can be a lens through which to orient the whole of your life.

Communities

Hebrews 10:24-25 says, "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
It is vital that we seek intentional community with other Christian women, giving and receiving encouragement and motivation to act with the radical, selfless love that Jesus modeled for us.
