EKKLESIA WORSHIP +

PRODUCTION

THE PROCESS

“Art by nature is self-expression; Christ by nature is self-denial.”

— Josh White, Pastor and Worship Leader

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. — Colossians 3:16

STEP 1 | APPLICATION

Fill out Worship Ministry Application. After you complete the application, email a copy to zac@ekklesiaeugene.org or print off and hand into someone on our te

This usually involves meeting with one or two worship ministry leaders to get to know you personally and musically.

●      You'll be asked to sing or play a few pre-determined songs. (In person or via video)

●      We'll also discuss why you feel God might be calling you to minister in this area.

●      We’ll answer any questions you might have about serving on the worship team (Youth, Kids, College, Sunday Gatherings).

STEP 2 | INITIAL INTERVIEW

If this seems like a great fit, we'll invite you to be a part of the team (Youth, Kids, College, Sunday Gatherings).

*Please keep in mind. If our leaders determine you are not the right fit for one area, it is a possibility they encourage you to serve in another area or tell you no.

STEP 3 | INVITATION

As with all areas of ministry, we want to be faithful stewards of the gifts the Lord has blessed us with. Once it’s been determined you are on the team, we will set up regular connection points with our Worship Leaders and Pastors so as to continuing growing as Leaders in the Kingdom.

STEP 5 | PARTICIPATION + GROWTH

During this step, you'll get used to our systems and ways of doing things, such as:

●      How to use and run the appropriate systems.

●      Using in-ear monitors and/or the appropriate system, depending on the area you’ll be leading in.

●      Participating in a rehearsal/soundcheck so you know what to expect.

We'll also be working on getting you on the schedule during this time.

*Please note our schedule is often set up to two months in advance. While we'll look for openings to include you, we may not be able to fit you into the current schedule.
