Summer School
Purpose
The purpose of the Summer School of Discipleship is to take a summer to study God’s Word (John 17:17) and serve God (Colossians 3:23-24) in an intensified program through taking Bible classes and being involved in various ministries at Ekklesia. This is a great opportunity for college age believers to set apart one summer dedicated to growing in their Christian walk.
Commitment
The School of Discipleship will take place throughout the summer. You will participate in taking seven different Bible classes throughout the summer. In addition, you will be expected to serve at our gatherings throughout the week.
Admission
If you are interested in the School of Discipleship, please sign up at one of our gatherings. The next step is to fill out the application for the School of Discipleship (below). This is a different application than the one we use for School of Bible, so if you have taken those courses, you will still be required to fill out this application. Turning in an application does not guarantee that you will be accepted. The leadership of Ekklesia will pray about each applicant.
Cost
The fee for the School of Discipleship is $100. This includes the cost for the class fees and supplies. As well, you will be expected to purchase the books for each class. This fee does not need to be turned in until after you have been accepted.
