School of Ministry

Purpose

The purpose of this ministry is to take a group of young men, beginning every fall season, for a year and immerse them in intensive service and study with the goal of laying down a foundation for possible future ministry and Christian growth.

Admissions

You must download and completely fill out a School of Ministry application and turn it into the Ekklesia Office. Once an application has been received it will be processed by the pastoral team. If the pastoral team has accepted an application then an interview of the applicant will be conducted by one of the pastors. The applicant will be notified upon acceptance into the School of Ministry.

Cost

The cost to participate in the School of Ministry is free but each student will need to sign a contract pledging to adhere to certain guidelines.

What to Expect

The School of Ministry is created to prepare a young man for possible future ministry. The students are expected to attend classes every Sunday afternoon and select Saturday seminars and perform well in these classes (outlined in the School of Ministry Schedule). In addition, students are to not just learn about ministry but participate in it. Students will be required to serve in every Ekklesia gathering, participate in Ekklesia evangelism, and serve in the Ekklesia College Group.

Certificates

Upon completion of a full year of the School of Ministry program and its requirements, students will receive an Ekklesia School of Ministry Certificate of Completion from the pastoral team.

Accreditation

The School of Ministry is not accredited or recognized as a formal Bible college or seminary. It is a church-based training program that prepares men both academically and practically for the Christian life and for ministry, but it does not offer college credit.
