Ekklesia Kids

Sunday: Nursery, 2-k, & 1-5 ministries are available.
Wednesday: Nursery, 2-k, & 1-5 ministries are available.

Purpose

Ekklesia Kids is here to share the Love of Christ! Our classes are used to reinforce the parents’ teaching. We are here to reach kids with the Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Our desire and goal is for kids to understand the gift of salvation that has been given to them through faith in Jesus. Class-time is devoted to teaching the Bible using age-appropriate methods and tools. Kids are a gift from God and we pray that each one would be influenced to love and obey Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20, John 14:23-24)

Cry Room

The cry room is a space designated for moms. If you need a place to feed or calm your baby, please utilize this space. There is a changing table in the women’s restroom for your convenience. There is also a speaker in the lobby that you can hear from the cry room, so you will not miss out on the teaching. Women only please.

Nursery

Sunday & Wednesday: 0-24 months

Check-in will start 10-15 minutes before each gathering.
Class-time includes play, music, prayer, and snack. It is important to us that every baby and toddler is shown love while in our care; all children will get one on one interaction with the helpers. The health and well-being of your child is important to us. We take every measure to provide a clean, safe and nurturing environment. We have a ratio of one worker caring for every two infants.

2yrs – K

Sunday & Wednesday: 2-3, 4-K

Check-in will start 10-15 minutes before each gathering.
Class-time includes play, craft, worship, teaching, prayer, memory verse, snack, and a game. Wednesdays we will present a Puppet Show to illustrate the message for that week. All of these elements work together to help the kids learn God’s truth. We encourage kids to memorize their memory verse, bring a bible and a friend as well. Each Sunday your child has the opportunity to recite their weekly memory verse. Children are awarded a small prize at the end of each month for participating in this. You will be given a scripture reference and memory verse each week to reinforce the teaching and help your child memorize their verse.

1st – 5th

Sunday & Wednesday: Kids are  dismissed from the gathering.

Class-time includes worship, teaching, small groups, memory verse, prayer, and a game. Wednesdays also include activity time and a snack. Each week Bible worksheets are provided for the kids to work on at home, which includes their memory verse. Your children will be rewarded with a prize at the end of the month based on the following: knowing their memory verse, bringing a completed work sheet, bringing their bible and a friend. Please encourage, help, and teach your child to participate in this throughout the week! The last Wednesday of every month is a movie and prize night.
A parent or guardian must check their child out before they can leave the classroom.
