At Ekklesia, kids can create, play, sing, and learn what it is to follow Jesus. We want to see each kid become a true disciple of Jesus. All of our volunteers must apply, provide references, and have a background check before volunteering in Ekklesia Kids.
Ekklesia Kids offers classes for infants through fifth graders. In the Nursery, little ones are nurtured in a fun and safe environment. In 2-K, kids get to play, sing, pray, create art, and listen to a fun teaching that excites and influences them to desire Jesus. First through fifth graders get to participate in the first set of worship, then they are dismissed to class to play games, practice their memory verse, sing, pray, and listen to a teaching.
We want to provide a clean, safe, and healthy class. Kids should not attend class if they have a fever of over 100.4 degrees, have had a fever in the last 24 hours, or have a communicable disease.
1-5th KIDS SUMMER PARTIES
This summer, first through fifth graders are invited to join us for six fun (and free!) parties. Kids will learn different sports, play crazy games, create, and make friends. There will be food, awesome giveaways, prizes, and awards. Kids can earn prizes from showing up, bringing a friend, dressing up, and more! They will have a blast!
All sessions will take place at Cal Young Middle School. Kids check in starts 15 minutes prior to each Party. These events are free!
The August 2 PARTY is a Family BBQ Night. All ages welcome!
Join our team of volunteers who help teach, love, and encourage Ekklesia Kids! To get started, come to a Kids Training to learn more about our policies, mission, and heart about Ekklesia Kids. These trainings occur approximately every six weeks. After you attend this meeting, fill out our volunteer application. Once you submit it, we’ll review it, check your references, and run a background check. This is to ensure the safety of every kid that enters an Ekklesia classroom. Although attending Ekklesia Connect isn’t required to volunteer in Ekklesia Kids, we highly encourage you attend one of First Sunday welcome lunches to learn more about our values and mission.
